HelloSamples has announced its latest sample pack Glass Drums, a collection of percussive glass sounds by Francesco Pellegrin.

For this pack Francesco broke more than 50 pieces of glass (bottles, pots, glass, lens, glasses…) and reprocessed the recordings to get a wide sound palette.

When talking about young sound designers, Francesco Pellegrin is by far one the most talented creators out there. If you visit his instagram account you will rapidly understand why…

His approach to foley recording, tirelessly looking for that musically appealing sound is always inspiring. And the way he mixes his compositions with video is as good and professional as beautifully genuine. It doesn’t matter if it’s a coffee machine, a tennis ball, a water bottle or a lamp bulb… Everything around him is potentially a musical instrument.

It was just a matter of time we ended up making a sound pack together! And the first is GLASS DRUMS.

The pack includes:

  • 295 one shots: 46 kicks, 52 snares & claps, 50 hi-hats, 89 percussions, 25 textures, 16 cymbals, 17 synths, chords and vocals.
  • 199 audio loops including complete drum loop mixes & individual stems.
  • 24-bit Wav audio files.
  • 38 Ableton Live devices: 11 Drum Kits, 7 Percussion Kits, 10 Texture Sampler devices, 10 Instruments/Vocal devices.
  • 11 Kontakt instruments.
  • 20 Maschine groups: 11 Drum Kits, 8 Percussion Kits, 1 Chord Kit.
