HOFA-College, the online academy for audio engineering and music production, is once again hosting its international song contest in 2026.
The online competition is open to artists, bands and producers from all musical genres who want to enter with a song they have written and produced themselves. Participants will reach a wide audience with their music, gather votes in the public voting and have the chance to win attractive prizes. The entries will be judged by a specialist jury of professional audio engineers, who will award prizes to the best songs in each category.
This year, there are five categories: Pop, Rock & Heavy, Electronic Music, Hip-Hop / Soul / R’n’B, and Traditional & Miscellaneous. The winners in each category will receive a prize of €1,000 EUR.
New in 2026: For the first time, entries can be submitted in the form of a music video. The best video will also receive a prize money of €1,000 EUR.
In addition, you can win top-quality equipment for the studio and rehearsal room – the prizes are worth a total of more than €32,000 EUR. This year’s prizes are sponsored by Ableton, Adam Audio, Arturia, Avid, Beyerdynamic, Celemony, Focusrite, Genelec, Image-Line, iZotope, Korg, Lewitt, Native Instruments, Sennheiser, Shure, Sonarworks, Soundtoys, Spectrasonics, SPL, SSL, Steinberg, Teufel, Toontrack, Yamaha, and HOFA.
The deadline for entries is August 8th, and taking part is free of charge.
