iFeature has announced the release of a new audio plugin which is design to make your sounds punch harder without turning up the volume.
Developed in collaboration with Prototype Audio, Thorn is a multiband transient shaper that works on 4 frequency bands at once, so your kick, snare, and cymbals each get shaped exactly how they need it.
What makes THORN different? Most transient shapers give you one fixed formula. THORN lets you actually tune how it listens: Peak, Body, Gating, and Soft controls let you shape the detection itself, not just the result. That means THORN adapts to your sound instead of forcing your sound to fit the plugin.
The plugin features per-band gain, solo and bypass, real-time pre/post visualization, soft/hard clipper, dry/wet mix, and more.
