Image-Line has announced the release of a new expansion pack for its FLEX virtual instrument, the advanced ‘production focused’ synthesizer in FL Studio.
Created in collaboration with MSXII Sound Design, Beat Scene pays tribute to the raw, rugged soul of the L.A. Beat Scene with 125 presets inspired by analog textures and atmospheric sound design. The pack is geared towards producers chasing the sound of Flying Lotus, Knxwledge, or Teebs.
You’ll find 18 sound kits full of custom drums and textures, 14 synths with grit, 14 warped and drifting electric keys, and 13 basses that thump, wobble, and growl. There are 10 sample chops ready for re-flipping, plus emotive SFX, orchestral stabs, and more.
Crafted using vintage machines and a pristine high-end recording chain every sound delivers clarity, warmth, and punch. Tastefully processed with resampling, bit reduction, and harmonic saturation techniques.
The expansion pack is available to purchase for $14.95 USD / €14.95 EUR. It is also available to subscribers of FL Cloud Pro.
