Imaginando has released a new tutorial which shows you how to use the Visual Synthesizer 2 software in Bitwig Studio to drive your visuals in real-time, perfect for live sets, studio sessions, and breathing new life into your old projects.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to route MIDI from multiple tracks into VS 2 using Note Receiver devices, assign each instrument to its own MIDI channel, and use per-layer triggering to sync visuals to your kick, clap, and hats independently. You’ll also see how to route audio into VS 2 — both through the main stereo channel and via sidechain — so your loops and samples can drive the Audio Modulators and Visualizer shaders. Finally, we load a factory preset and adapt it live to the session, showing just how quickly you can build a fully reactive audiovisual setup.
VS 2 for Windows and macOS is priced 129 USD/EUR. Customers can use coupon code REKKERD at the checkout to get a 30% discount on a purchase.
