Impact Soundworks

Impact Soundworks has announced a new academic discount program for students, teachers, and institutions at the K12 and collegiate levels, offering discounts starting at 25% for all products.

Impact Soundworks offers a vast catalog of unique, detailed sampled instruments to select from. These samples include electric guitars, world instruments, custom & found sounds, percussive kits and much more. All products qualify for the academic discount, including newly released libraries such as the critically acclaimed Juggernaut: Cinematic Electronic Scoring Tools.

Impact Soundworks was founded in 2007 by composers Andrew Aversa and Will Roget, II with the goal of creating innovative, affordable and unique sample libraries “designed with composers in mind.” The company’s sounds have been used by thousands of composers around the world in film, television, video game and other music productions.

“Looking out for the composers of tomorrow and their teachers is extremely important. Especially in harder economic times, we’re interested in making sure newcomers get access to the latest tools,” said Andrew Aversa, cofounder of Impact Soundworks. “This way, students can work with the same tools thousands of professionals are using and get an edge in this highly competitive industry.”

Students and teachers can qualify for the academic discount by providing a dated photo ID, while virtually any teaching institution qualifies by default for bulk license rates up to 75% off MSRP for multiuser licenses (e.g. computer labs).

The academic program is open now in all countries.
