Impact Soundworks has announced an update to its flagship Kontakt Player-powered instrument library which was exhaustively sampled from 19 distinctive consoles, handhelds, and sound chips.
Featuring a massively powerful synth engine that lets users customize, tweak, and transform 6,000+ sound sources, Super Audio Cart 2 has been updated with over 200 new presets, and tweaks to make it work even better.
Our team and a few friends have been working hard to hand-sculpt a whole slew of inspiring new sounds using the powerful tools in SAC2. We wanted to expand the sonic palette beyond retro game sounds (although of course we love those!). These ready-made presets give you one-click access to more great sounds that will inspire you no matter what kind of music you’re working on.
A free update to Super Audio Cart 2 owners, new customers can purchase the instrument library for $199 USD. Owners of the original Super Audio Cart (or another related product), can check their Impact Soundworks account for a personalized discount.
