Initial Audio has announced a major update to its hybrid virtual instrument. Version 2.2.0 of SourceLab introduces a new Wavetable Designer, which allows users to build evolving wavetables with drag-and-drop or freehand drawing, 12 powerful morph types that can be stacked, and independent morphing per timeline section.
The update also includes a new drawable filter, additional SVF morph filter types, skin creation improvements, and various workflow enhancements.
Create and sculpt wavetables on an intuitive timeline. Add single-cycle waveforms anywhere, move them freely, and blend between them using any of the 12 morph types, which can be stacked. Different sections of your wavetable can use completely different morph stacks for precise control. Drag & drop single-cycle waves directly onto the display or draw your own custom shapes in real time.
Take complete control over your sound with the incredibly flexible Drawable Filter. Draw your own custom filter response curve and manipulate it in real-time. Stretch and compress your custom curve effortlessly using the dedicated warp control for unique, evolving sound design.
