Initial Audio has released an update to its wavetable synthesizer and sampler instrument for Windows and macOS. Version 2.3.0 of SourceLab includes various new features and improvements.
SourceLab 2.3.0 brings even more control to your sound design with the powerful new Wavetable Filter. Create unique filtering shapes in the Wavetable Designer or load existing ones, and seamlessly morph through them using position controls.
This update also introduces the highly requested ability to export your creations as WAV files, allowing you to use your custom wavetables in other synths.
Changes in SourceLab v2.3.0
- Added new Wavetable filter. Use the Wavetable designer to create your wavetable, then send it to any filter. Or load an existing wavetable. It features a wrap control to stretch/compress the shape, and a wavetable position control to seamlessly move through the shape for unique filtering.
- Added exporting wavetables as WAV files. These can now be loaded into Serum or any other synth that supports wavetables as WAV files.
- Locked pitch ranges for the pitch wheel, preventing ranges from being overridden by preset changes.
- Added back the Global Sequencer play and stop buttons (only visible when the sequencer is enabled).
- Made the loop marker for LFOs easier to grab.
- Fixed: DAW BPM was not being correctly passed to loaded loops unless explicitly changed.
- Fixed pitch and mod wheel not updating on custom Skins.
- General stability fixes and improvements.
