Initial Audio has announced an update to its all-in-one virtual instrument featuring wavetable synthesis, sampler and loop slicer capabilities, a MIDI sequencer, and more.
Version 1.4.0 of SourceLab comes with a massive sequencer overhaul, new arp modes, and smarter workflow.
Our latest update reimagines the sequencing experience in SourceLab. We’ve redesigned the layout to be more intuitive and added powerful new modes like the Arp Sequencer, giving you more creative control over your patterns than ever before.
Changes in SourceLab v1.4.0
- Sequencer Redesign: Complete redesign of the sequencer for a more intuitive experience. The Master Sequencer’s range can now be adjusted, allowing it to be triggered alongside other sequencers or play individual notes simultaneously.
- New Arp Seq Mode: Added hybrid Arpeggiator + Sequencer mode based on the Heat Up 3 engine. Heat Up 3 instruments now utilize this mode natively.
- Smarter Controls: Adjust sequencer ranges easily with new +/- buttons or by dragging. You can now copy and paste notes between the Piano Roll and Arp sequencers with automatic quantization.
- Content Management: Added a “Rebuild Content Database” button to the menu. This ensures your browser is always up to date if you move or add presets manually outside of SourceLab.
Available for Windows and Mac (VST3/AU/AAX), SourceLab is on sale for $119 USD for a limited time. Additionally, customers can use coupon code 2026 at the checkout to get 30% extra discount on any purchase, this week only.
