Ravine DSP has recently release a multi-rack host environment which aims to stop users from fighting overlapping plugin windows and fragmented MIDI mappings when building complex chains.
Inter::State uses a fixed, bento-style UI which allows users to build parallel, serial, or multiband setups across three racks using existing plugins.
DAW mixers are inefficient for granular signal processing. Inter::State is a self-contained host that runs your existing plugins in serial, parallel, or multiband configurations inside a single insert slot. It provides the low-level utility functions—oversampling, phase alignment, and LUFS matching—that your third-party plugins omitted, keeping your session free of cluttered aux tracks and routing workarounds.
Inter::State features
- Multiband & Parallel Routing: Split audio via phase-accurate crossovers or parallel paths. Sum them back internally without managing external aux tracks or inducing host delay compensation errors.
- Per-Slot Oversampling (Up to 16x): Apply uniform, high-quality oversampling to any hosted plugin, forcing older DSP to operate cleanly at higher sample rates.
- Gain Staging Built In: Honest, level-matched A/B monitoring. Use Auto-Match for a committed level correction or Auto-Gain for continuous LUFS compensation while you tweak.
- Phase & Time Alignment: Micro-delay offsets and phase inversion per slot. Correct the phase shift introduced by third-party saturators and EQs in parallel chains before summing.
- Diagnostic Visualisers: Real-time spectrum analysis, metering, and high-framerate oscilloscope views placed exactly where you need them in the signal path.
