iZotope has announced an update to its immersive reverb plugin designed for music and post-production. Version 1.1.0 of Equinox comes with enhanced support for surround configurations and various fixes.

- Support for 7.1.4 channel configurations to AU instances of Equinox within Logic.
- Support for 7.x.4 & 9.1.6 channel configurations to VST3 instances of Equinox (see Known Issue note below for 9.1.6 support exceptions).
- Default keyword set based on currently selected Reverb Type upon saving a user preset.
- Fixed preset keywords not retained when importing legacy Stratus and Symphony presets.
- Fixed keyword filter buttons not displaying all expected presets in the preset manager.
- Fixed Reverb Type buttons displayed incorrectly until hovered over when Legacy option selected.
- Fixed Windows HiDPI support broken for Equinox in Adobe Premiere and Audition.
- Fixed visible cursor position not aligned with clickable area in preset manager when display scaling set to values other than 100 or 200% on Windows HiDPI displays.
- Known Issue: VST3 9.x.6 channel configuration is not currently supported for Equinox in Cubase, Nuendo, and Fender Studio Pro 8.
Equinox for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX) is available to purchase for $249 USD / €269 EUR at the iZotope store and from distributors such as Plugin Boutique and AudioDeluxe. A crossgrade from any paid iZotope product is $149 USD, and owners of Stratus 3D, Symphony 3D or 3D Reverb Bundle can crossgrade for $49 USD.
The update is free for existing Equinox users.
