Musician and hobbyist programmer Katz Praatz has announced the release of an update to the chord sequencer for creating jazz-inspired music and learning jazz harmony.
Version 1.8 of Jazz Sketch adds 192 new chord progressions to the previously available 1,224 in version 1.7, bringing the total to 1,416 jazz chord progressions. Version 1.8 also introduces 48 additional tension chords, increasing the total number from 168 to 216. In addition, the update adds save and load functionality, allowing users to store and recall chord progression data for future use.
Jazz Sketch is a chord sequencer designed to help you create music by arranging 1,416 jazz chord progressions and 216 tension chords. You can export the chord sequence (the chord progressions and chords you’ve arranged) as a MIDI file to play it or edit it in your DAW. You can also save and load your chord progressions, allowing you to organize, revisit, and refine your musical ideas whenever inspiration strikes.
