Kojika Games has introduced an effect plugin for adding professional-sounding lo-fi grit and character with minimal setup.
Lo-Fi Push is designed to turn flat, sterile sounds into rich, textured lo-fi material, widening and thickening the source as well as roughing it up. Usage is built to be simple: push the input signal until it reads around -6dB on the meter, then adjust the Lo-Fi Mix control to taste for the source material.
Lo-Fi Push for Windows and macOS is available to purchase for $69 USD (ex. taxes where applicable). It comes in VST3, AU and CLAP plugin formats. A free demo is available with a short noise watermark every 40 seconds.
