Konnekta Sound Lab has introduced a new soundset featuring 165 analog polysynth presets for u-he’s Diva software synthesizer instrument.
Syntax Error is designed to capture the warmth, instability, and raw character of classic analog poly synths from the 1970s and early 1980s.
These patches are designed to be immediate, useful and genuinely enjoyable to play. They lean into Diva’s ability to detune sounds just like the original analogue polys. This used to be viewed as a flaw until producers recognised the depth and warmth derived from oscillators struggling to stay in tune. Syntax Error reflects the organic nature of vintage hardware rather than the sterile, perfectly tuned digital output of modern synths and VSTs.
