Kuassa has announced the release of two expressive analog-modeled overdrive plugins as part of its Efektor series of effects.
The Efektor Blues Brother Bundle is inspired by two of the most iconic overdrive circuits in guitar history, delivering a wide spectrum of tones—from warm, tube-like saturation to vintage British crunch—each with 10 selectable circuit types.

Efektor Blues Barker: The black pedal which is designed to capture the historic overdrive character of the vintage “breaker” combo amp, designed to replicate the smooth, dynamic breakup of the legendary amp, known for its warm, natural tone and responsive feel.Efektor Blues River: A versatile overdrive inspired by the iconic Blue driver pedal, crafted to recreate the warmth, responsiveness, and rich harmonics of classic tube saturation. Featuring a JFET soft-clipping stage and smooth, touch-sensitive breakup, it delivers everything from subtle grit to soaring leads, making it an essential tool for guitarists seeking expressive and natural overdrive tones.Available for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX), the plugins are on sale for the intro price of $19 USD each (regular $39 USD), while the bundle of both is only $29 USD until June 9th, 2025.
