Splice Sounds has launched Lakim: Nightfall Drum Kit, a collection of 160 drum one-shots by Soulection signee Lakim.
Navigating the thorough-line between dance music, hip hop, footwork, Lakim’s dreamy synth textures and crisp drums caught the ears of tastemaker Soulection.
After a handful of steady releases with them in addition to remixes for the likes of Janet Jackson and BANKS, his take on club and bass music now comes in sample pack form.
Also available now is Just a taste, a sample pack featuring nearly 200 samples and loops by Um..
Bass music and trap duo Um.. met in the Icon Collective production school.
In the past, Um.. have described their sound as “spaghetti.” Make a platter of bass delicacies with their pack.
