Liljeholmen DSP has released a single-voice drum/percussion synthesizer and 2×8 step modulation sequencer for Windows and macOS (VST3/AU).
Trumsynt-16 combines two oscillators, noise and click layers, LP/HP filtering, pre/post drive, envelopes, FM, hard sync, LFO and per-step modulation. The oscillator stage runs at 8x oversampling and is downsampled through a 31-tap FIR decimator.
Features include metal mode on VCO 1 for 606-like hats, pitch envelopes per oscillator, noise-driven filter modulation, six separate decay envelopes, UNTZ envelope shape, per-step pitch and velocity, assignable MOD A/MOD B lanes, and separate lane lengths in the sequencer.
