Live Workflow Tools has announced an update to its Max for Live device that removes unused content from Ableton Live projects in one click.
Version 1.1.0 of Liveset Cleaner focuses on responsiveness on large sessions, with a live progress bar, a cancel button, and non-blocking cleaning that keeps Ableton interactive during the scan.
Liveset Cleaner scans the active Live set for elements that are not actually in use, including empty tracks, unused devices, and empty clips, then removes them while leaving everything in use exactly where it is. In version 1.1.0, the cleaning process runs without freezing the application, and a progress indicator reports each step as it completes. Users can cancel the operation at any point.
Changes in Liveset Cleaner v1.1.0
- Live progress bar and cancel button during cleaning.
- Non-blocking cleaning, so Ableton stays responsive on large sessions.
- Empty group tracks are removed when all of their child tracks are empty.
- Record-armed and input-monitored tracks are always preserved.
- Faster scans on projects with high track counts.
Liveset Cleaner v1.1.0 is a free update for existing owners. New customers can purchase the device for $14 USD.
