Award-winning beginners’ musical instrument brand Loog Guitars and Fender Musical Instruments Corporation have announced the latest addition to their celebrated Fender x Loog collaboration: the Sonic Blue colorway, available for both the kid-sized Fender x Loog Stratocaster and Fender x Loog Telecaster guitars. The new finish pays tribute to one of Fender’s most iconic and enduring colors, now reimagined for the next generation of players.
First introduced in the early 1960s, Sonic Blue is one of Fender’s most recognizable and loved colors, a soft, vintage-inspired hue that first appeared on classic guitars during the height of California’s surf era. It’s a color that feels bright, fresh, and full of creativity, just like the music it inspired. Over the years, Sonic Blue has become a favorite among players and collectors, seen on guitars played by artists like Jeff Beck and John Mayer. Now, with the new Fender x Loog models, that same iconic look is being reimagined for the next generation of rockstars, bringing a touch of Fender history and a whole lot of fun to kids picking up their first guitar.
Launched in 2023, the Fender x Loog collaboration brings Fender’s legendary electric guitar designs to young learners through Loog’s award-winning 3-string format. Featuring one pickup, one knob, and Fender’s trademark headstock design, the guitars combine playability, style, and sound in a size that’s perfect for kids. Each instrument also comes with Loog’s signature learning tools, including chord flashcards and free access to the Loog Guitar app, featuring video lessons and game-like exercises designed to make learning fun and approachable.
