Hidden Beach is a new piece inspired by Kipling’s poem and ode to the Sussex coast with its ship bells and sheep bells. It draws heavily on Jazz while retaining a Folk strain from a Saxon lute. Lemony is a song on a journey from The Copper Family to Post Punk’s Scritti Politti. Here, Indian drums and muscular finger-picked guitar drive the song into Funk and Jazz. The Devil And The Farmer is a Sussex standard turned into a 6\8 jig or shuffle. The Heavy funk bass and guitar ride over the synthetic drones and percussion.
