Loopmasters has launched its new sample pack Ultimate Brushed Snare, featuring a collection of the finest brushed samples available from industry favorite Jon Atkinson.
Known as a brushes specialist in all genres, chances are you’ve already heard Jon’s brush playing on recent movies such as Johnny English Strikes Again and Paddington 2, TV series like Inside Number 9, Hold The Sunset, Doctor Who and Roobarb And Custard Too, plus album tracks for Kim Wilde, Rick Astley and Nik Kershaw amongst others.
Ultimate Brushes features 10 recorded tempos ranging from 70-160bpm, and dozens of different feels, dynamic settings and articulations for each tempo. Loops include many classic brush patterns and grooves plus some random syncopated rhythms. Each set of rhythms has been replicated on a range of vintage snares, all of which have very different tonalities, so you’re sure to find the right vibe for your track.
These loops are designed to work across multiple genres, as a bed for jazz, country or singer-songwriter tracks, to give percussive movement to pop tracks, or as an organic texture behind hip-hop, urban or trap tracks. Also included are several single hits and sweeps on each drum.
The pack includes 868 snare loops in various tempos (also available in REX2 format), 74 one shots of snares and brushed snares, and 4 software sampler patches for most popular formats.
