M Media Audio has introduced an audio plugin which combines a 3-band EQ with independent filters and a custom RMS bus compressor.
Violet Crown is a stereo channel strip built around the EQ and compression character that defined the sound of major-label bus processing. Three independent EQ bands – each with separate boost and cut controls – feed a custom RMS compressor with program-sensitive auto-release.
The VU meters are real, the ballistics are analog, and the whole thing is free. No demo mode. No time limit. No license key. Drop it on a bus and play something.
