Loot Audio has introduced Marcos Ciscar’s new deeply sampled orchestral marimba with five octaves. The Symphonic Marimba instrument library for Kontakt features recordings of various sticks and mallets on different regions of the instrument.
The velocity layers, the round robin technique together with the neighbor-borrowing notes script give you a very authentic marimba experience. A custom made IR lets you dial in a suitable reverb sound.
This marimba is huge. Performed by the great Swedish drummer and percussionist Robert Drewstad. Not one single sample needed to change place in his dynamic cycles! A true expert at work!
