A Sound Effect has introduced a new sound library featuring a collection of rare ultrasonic animal recordings. Two years in the making, Animal Hyperrealism IV by independent recordist and sound library creator Mattia Cellotto is the latest installment in his acclaimed Animal Hyperrealism series.
The library delivers 2,000 close and dry animal vocalizations, including rare ultrasonic recordings of species ranging from hippos, penguins, and hyenas to parrots, African wild dogs, and elephants.
The collection also features a designed animal section by sound designer Ash Read, plus a selection of synthesized animal sounds, making it a versatile resource for film, TV, games, and beyond.
Captured at 192 kHz with a Sanken CO100K, Avisoft CMPA, Sennheiser 8050, and dual MKH8040 microphones, the recordings provide hyper-detailed ultrasonic content, enabling extreme sound design manipulation.
Animal Hyperrealism IV is available to purchase at a launch discount until October 7th, 2025. The library is also included in the Mattia Cellotto Complete Bundle, featuring all 14 of his sound effects libraries.
