McDSP has announced the release of the versatile reverb plugin for Windows and Mac (VST3, AU and AAX).
FutzVerb builds on the popular FutzBox plugin by combining the power of McDSP SIMs (Synthetic Impulse Models), filters, and saturation with a compact yet powerful reverb engine.
FutzVerb includes 22 reverb types, 12 reflection types, and additional control over reverb pre-delay (dry or wet signal), early reflections, stereo field adjustment, modulation, damping, tone coloration, and sub octave generation.
FutzVerb SIMs can be placed before, after, or inside the reverb algorithm for even more sonic variations. FutzVerb combines two of the most common audio effects used since the invention of the DAW – distortion and reverb. What’s not to like?
FutzVerb features
- Library of Synthetic Impulse Models (SIMs) that can be placed before, after, or inside the reverb algorithm.
- Configurable ‘futz’ effects including filtering, EQ, distortion, down sampling and bit reduction.
- Sub octave generator for 1x and 2x pitched down sounds.
- Reverb gating and ducking.
- Double precision processing and zero latency operation.
In addition to the release of FutzVerb, all McDSP v7 plugins now support machine based licensing. McDSP users can choose between iLok, iLok Cloud, and machine based licensing options, for both perpetual licenses and subscriptions. McDSP v7 plugins will continue to have two activations per license.
FutzVerb is available to purchase for $129 USD at the McDSP store and from distributors such as Plugin Boutique and AudioDeluxe.
