Melbourne Instruments has announced availability of advanced Logic Pro integration for its motorized software and hardware MIDI controller. Expanding upon its successful integration with Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio, integration with Apple’s popular professional DAW for Mac is now available for the Roto-Control.
Advanced Logic Pro integration for Roto-Control has arrived, expanding on our recent implementation of Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio support.
Roto-Control introduces a fully tactile, motorized controller for Logic Pro users, delivering fast, hands-on control of tracks, plugins, smart controls and automation. MIX Mode mirrors Logic Pro’s session track names, colours and order, while providing high-resolution control of volume, pan, sends, and instant access to mute, solo, record-arm and track focus.
PLUGIN Mode allows users to browse and select Logic Pro instruments and effects directly from Roto-Control. Parameters can be mapped instantly using touch-and-learn, with up to eight pages of controls stored on the device ready for any project. Smart Controls are automatically mapped, offering up to 16 parameters available in both PLUGIN Mode and the dedicated SMART Mode.
Roto-Control is available to purchase for $399 USD (excl. tax) in the USA and Canada, $619 AUD (incl. GST) in Australia, €372.35 EUR (excl. VAT) in EU, $469 USD in Japan/Asia, and £389 GBP in the UK.
The new (3.0.1) firmware update for Roto-Control with Logic Pro integration is downloadable for free.
