Meldaproduction has announced the release of a comprehensive MSoundFactory instrument dedicated to the legendary sound of tine-based electric pianos.
Electric Keys – Tines combines the mechanical soul of the late ’70s and early ’80s with modern precision. Designed to be the definitive electric soul, it delivers the bell-like tones and gritty bark that defined a generation of R&B, funk, and classic rock.
Precision Science, Infinite Tone. Much like the approach taken with previous releases, this is not just a static sample library. Electric Keys – Tines is a living instrument. It is built on four distinct, deeply sampled historic models: the MK I, MK II 73, MK II 88, and MK V. MeldaProduction captured every nuance to create a meticulously sampled multi-layer library, including release and pedal noises, ensuring a transformation that feels authentic across the entire frequency spectrum.
Electric Keys – Tines features
- Four Historic Models: Instant access to the holy grail of electric piano history, from the raw bark of the 73 to the crystal clarity of the MK V.
- Deep Character Control: Users can sculpt the timbre using the Character section, shifting Hammer hardness from a soft lullaby to an aggressive bite, and dialling in physical behaviour with the Noise section.
- Modular FX Rack: Features a fully modular effects rack with eight processors, including Vibrato, Tremolo, Wah-Wah, Rotary, and more. Users can drag and drop modules to reorder the signal chain.
- Global Efficiency: Manage polyphony to optimise CPU usage and fine-tune velocity ranges to match specific playing styles.
Owners of MSoundFactory (full or LE license) can get Electric Keys – Tines for free. The instrument library is also available to purchase for use with the free MSoundFactory Player plugin for the intro price of €9 EUR / $9 USD (regular 69 EUR/USD).
The offer is available at the Meldaproduction store and from Plugin Boutique until February 28th, 2026.
