Meldaproduction has released MCharacter, a plugin for controlling harmonics of monophonic audio materials.

Most audio instruments have a distinctive character defined by harmonics and formants. While formants are pretty much static in spectrum, so you can change them directly with equalizer, harmonics are more problematic, because they follow the pitch.

MCharacter lets you control the levels of first 32 harmonics in a very simple and effective way. By working directly in spectrum domain the plugin’s ability to detect pitch is outstanding and the changes are instant, which makes it outperform traditional equalizers in just about every way.

MCharacter for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/AAX) is available for purchase for the introductory price of 49 EUR (regular 99 EUR).

Meldaproduction has also updated its effect plugins and MPowerSynth to version 9.14.

9.14 is a big update which comes with quite lots of workflow improvements, new features and some fixes. It is recommended to install this update. To do that, get the newest version from our download page and use it.
