Mercuriall Audio has released an update to its Ampbox amp modeling plugin for Windows and Mac.
Version 1.7.0 comes with a new bass amplifier based on the Ampeg SVT-7 PRO bass amp head. Available to purchase for a limited time launch price of $49.99 USD (regular $59.99 USD), Ampbass BST-7 was created using SPICE modeling for the most realistic sound and tube amp dynamics.
The update also includes A-Mega Distortion, a free bass distortion based on the Darkglass Alpha Omega, and IRs have been added from bass cabinets from Shift Line and guitar cabinets from Arsafes. Operation of power amplifiers is now up to 25% faster, starting with models such as the 6160III.
Furthermore, Mercuriall Audio is offering a 33% discount on all other amplifier models during the launch promotion.
