Mercuriall Audio Software has announced a major update to its ver-evolving amp modeling platform. Version 1.6.3 of Ampbox comes with a full code refactor.
The update improves plugin load times, preset switching, and CPU efficiency, with better compatibility on Apple Silicon and DAWs like Pro Tools, FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Studio One.
Stability improvements address multithreading issues and undefined behavior bugs. Users can now move Ampbox between tracks without crashes or freezes.
The update is free for Ampbox users. To celebrate the release, all Mercuriall plugins are on offer at a 33% discount until June 13th, 2025.
