Mercuriall Audio Software has announced an update to its amp modeling plugin for and Mac. Version 1.6.4 of Ampbox brings the legend of brutal guitar tone with an emulation of the iconic BOSS HM-2 distortion pedal.
We discovered a vintage Japanese BOSS HM-2 from the 1980s and recreated it, stage by stage, inside Ampbox. The result? Pure, raw and aggressive tone that true fans of extreme guitar sound will instantly recognize and love.
The HM-2 is free for all Ampbox users. Additionally, all plugins are available to purchase at a 33% discount until June 27th, 2025.
