Midifex has released a software application which can scan, organize, and offload your audio plugins so your DAW loads faster and your sessions stay clean.
Plugoff automatically filters and sorts by manufacturer, plugin type, and format (AU, VST, VST3 and AAX). Unused plugins can be moved to a safe vault folder and restored when needed. Plugoff can also flag redundant plugin formats that are safe to offload.
Unused plugins can be offloaded to a folder or external drive, leaving just the plugins and formats you need. Your DAW will load faster and won’t be littered with outdated or demo plugins.
The software is currently free for Windows and Mac. It will transition to a premium paid product in the future.
