Minimal Audio has announced the release of a new expansion for its Current software synthesizer instrument.
Designed in collaboration with EPROM, Memory Rites also marks the debut of the Current Expansion Player, a new plugin format that lets producers access artist-built Current expansions without needing to own the full version of Minimal Audio’s flagship synthesizer.
EPROM’s creative memory in playable form — distorted bass, complex rhythms, and machine-born textures. Memory Rites features 60 of EPROM’s custom-designed Current patches, delivering users direct access to the sounds at the forefront of experimental electronic music.
Memory Rites is available to purchase for the Current Expansion Player plugin for Windows and macOS (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) for $29 USD at Plugin Boutique and from the Minimal Audio store (also unlocks Current preset pack).
Owners of Current can purchase the preset pack for $19 USD.
