MKS Mixing has announced an update to its vintage 42-inspired delay effect plugin with manual or tempo-synced timing, input saturation, dual opto limiting, and feedback that can go from pretty controlled to much longer, dirtier trails.
Version 1.6 of DelayU-42 comes with reworked parts of the delay/filtering path, making it sound closer to the hardware unit than ever before.
The update also tightens up Feedback and CLK changes, improves automation and bypass behavior, and adds native Linux VST3 and CLAP builds. macOS is no longer supported.
The grit and warmth of the industry’s most sought-after 80s digital delay was captured. DelayU-42 delivers the signature limiter and heavy-hitting saturation that shaped legendary records.
DelayU-42 is available to download in VST3 and CLAP formats for Windows and Linux.
