Plugin Boutique has announced the release of a new virtual instrument which reimagines the legendary Ondes Martenot by playing performances through live resonating gongs and custom amps captured at extreme ultrasonic resolution—unlocking harmonic dimensions, textures, and expressive possibilities unattainable in conventional synthesis.
Developed by Bigano (Vincent Gagnon & Fabien Noel)—multi-award winning video game sound designers—in collaboration with MNTRA and performed by virtuoso Daniel Áñez, Onde continues the exploration of physical synthesis where acoustic resonance fuses with advanced sampling techniques.
Decades of interactive audio expertise infuse every preset with SSM (Sample Start Modulation) and non-linear reactivity, transforming each note into an expressive gateway where every gesture reshapes texture, timbre, and spatial depth in real time.
