Modartt has announced an update to its virtual piano and instrument suite for Windows, macOS and Linux (VST3, AU, AAX and standalone). Version 9.2.0 of Pianoteq comes with various improvements.

- Performance improvements for most instruments.
- Grand K2: added presets “a la Flanagan”, “Improv” and “Sweet”, plus small revoicing.
- Shigeru Kawai SK-EX Warm: small revoicing.
- Pedal and key noises reduced in several Felt presets (NY Steinway D, Bösendorfer, Petrof, Steingraeber, YC5).
- Improved graphical keyboard (3D/2D view can be toggled from the options panels).
- Added an option to reverse the “Thunder” pedal.
- Improved pitch-bend behaviour (addressed stability issues with some presets).
