Samples From Mars has announced that its Modded 606 From Mars is available as a free download for a limited time.
The sample pack offers a collection of classic Roland TR-606 drum machine sounds, as well as a huge amount of tunings, filter and pitch settings for unique cymbals, trashy hi hats, huge, and booming sub kicks (both 909 and 808 style). A total of 1,200 modded samples is included, alongside 16 pre-built hit kits.

This mod adds huge lowend to the low tom, creating a monstrous kick somewhere between an 808 and 909. It also beefs up the kick, plus you get 909 style snares, tuned toms, metallic hats, cymbals, and the regular 606 samples.
