MusicDevelopments has released an update to its innovative, phrase-based music composition tool which offers a flexible, non-destructive workflow tailored for composers, songwriters, and musicians of all genres.
Version 6.0.4 of RapidComposer focuses on improving stability, reliability, and workflow smoothness based on recent user feedback.
Changes in RapidComposer v6.0.4
- More reliable Undo/Redo: Several issues were fixed, including rare cases where phrases could disappear during undo operations. Undo history handling is now rock-solid.
- Faster Undo/Redo with audio tracks thanks to improved audio caching.
- Smoother audio playback: Crossfades are now applied automatically when jumping to a new playback position.
- FLAC drag-and-drop fix: Audio waveforms now appear correctly when dragging FLAC files into tracks.
- Phrase Editor correction: Bar numbers once again align properly with bar lines.
The update is recommended for all v6 users. Owners of RapidComposer 5 purchased after April 1st, 2025, qualify for a complimentary upgrade to v6.0. Customers who purchased before this date can upgrade at a special price of $49 USD (Full Edition) or $24 USD (Light Edition).
