NI Global Shake Expansion

From the rise of Afro bashment in the UK, to club styles like Afrobeats, gqom, kuduro, kizomba, and Afro house, to the influence on world-conquering artists like Drake and Major Lazer, one thing is clear: Africa is the sound of now.

GLOBAL SHAKE follows a trail to Lisbon, London, New York, and beyond – capturing the diverse creativity of contemporary Africa as it overflows onto the international stage.

Created by Zoss Audio in collaboration with with London-based producers Nosa Apollo and Major Notes, GLOBAL SHAKE provides a vivid palette of sounds suitable for any style.
Lively drums and tuned percussion come in kits for BATTERY and MASCHINE, while new presets for MASSIVE, MONARK and REAKTOR PRISM give producers the characteristic bright leads and thick basses of African club music. Guitars, percussion, and original vocals were performed and recorded in Ghana, Cape Verde, and South Africa exclusively for the Expansion and come as samples and loops for use in any DAW.

The Global Shake Expansion is available exclusively at the NI Online Shop for $49 USD / 49 EUR / £44 GBP. A compact version is also available as an iMaschine 2 Expansion, priced at $0.99 USD / 0.99 EUR / £0.79 GBP.

The samples, loops, and one-shots from Global Shake are also available on Sounds.com.
