Native Instruments has announced an update to its beat making and music production software. Version 3.2.0 of Maschine comes with some new features, including piano roll lightguides, active play assist scale in the piano roll, and more.
Maschine is all about getting your musical ideas flowing. It’s there every step of the way from beat making and sampling to arranging and performing your tracks. Use it with virtual instruments or your own samples, both on its own and in a DAW. And if you’re ready to take things up a gear, bring in Maschine hardware to get hands on.
Changes in Maschine v3.2.0
- Piano Roll Lightguides makes composing and editing MIDI data more intuitive and harmonized across software and hardware.
- Play Assist scales are visible directly in the Maschine software Piano Roll, making it easier to stay in key while editing or composing.
- Hovering over notes in the Piano Roll now displays contextual note information.
- Assign different audio takes to individual patterns for more control without disrupting unrelated parts of your arrangement.
- Export your audio directly as MP3 in standalone mode from both the desktop software and Maschine+ hardware (upcoming release).
- Fixed: Floating windows stay on top when pinned on Windows.
- Fixed: Windows Full Screen Not Working When Scale > 100%.
- Fixed: Undoing after loading a Plugin and displaying the UI could lead to an empty window.
- Fixed: Some Plugins would prevent the Application from starting when scanning.
- Fixed: Inputting a note in the clip editor could cause the audio preview to not stop.
- Fixed: Stems option on Maschine MK3 not available for Audio Plugin.
