Oblivion Sound Lab has introduced a new soundset for the Serum 2 software synthesizer by Xfer Records. Fusing cinematic sci-fi, dystopian retrosynth, hard techno and neuro drum and bass, Biotech delivers a collection of 92 fresh presets.
From gritty cyberpunk to ambient synthscapes, this collection evokes a near-future of corporate citadels, black-market networks and technological decay, with nods to composers such as P.T. Adamczyk, Power Glove, Mac Quale, Sonic Mayhem and Vangelis.
Inside you will find heavy digital basses, atmospheric drones, soaring pads and strings, industrial sound effects, futuristic plucks, distorted synth guitars and razor-sharp leads, ready to drop into your next project.
The soundset is available for the introduction price of $20 USD until April 30th, 2025 (regular $25 USD).
