Ocean Swift has announced the release of a massive expansion pack for the Wavestate series of synthesizer instruments by KORG. A comprehensive collection designed to transform the Wavestate into an even more powerful and versatile instrument, Ocean State offers a vast ocean of new sonic possibilities for musicians, producers, and sound designers.
The expansion boasts an impressive 3.76GB of 1,924 carefully selected and perfectly looping samples. With over 1,600 presets, including 400 performances, 640 programs, and a wealth of wave sequences and effects, Ocean State provides a versatile palette of sounds. From soaring leads and deep drones to intricate textures and pulsating arps, this expansion covers a wide sonic territory, empowering users to create rich, immersive, and complex soundscapes with ease.
Beyond the detailed, instantly playable performances, this collection also opens up a universe of building blocks for sound exploration. Each program, wave sequence, lane, effects preset, and sample functions as a unique piece in the Wavestate’s intricate puzzle – elements that can be swapped, layered, and re-shaped to reveal entirely new sonic pictures. Whether you’re crafting fresh performances from the ground up or mutating existing ones, these modular components empower you to bend the Wavestate engine to your imagination, turning every tweak into a new creative discovery.

Ocean State is available at an introductory price of €34 EUR until October 7th, 2025 (regular €85 EUR). The expansion is fully compatible with Korg Wavestate, Wavestate MK2, and Wavestate Native, with full NKS compatibility for Wavestate Native users.
