Ohm Force has introduced a new stereo dual-voice kick system for Eurorack comprising a main module that provides the primary kick voice, and two optional expanders.
The Bohm system’s 18HP-sized main module’s micro SD card reader comes complete with 9 OIFF (Ohm Force Interchange File Format) files, each effectively representing a unique kick machine circuit or ‘model’.
From classic analog kick drum sounds to experimental textures, Bohm gives you full control, inspiration, and performance flexibility – loaded with models, effects, and CV options. Built for the stages and the studio!
Bohm features
- Kick engine variety: Includes 9 kick synthesis models, from FM to wavetable to physical modeling—with user-loadable options.
- Performance-ready: Load and tweak models in real time without interrupting your sound – ideal for live sets.
- Creative modulation: CV control on all parameters and 6 attenuverters.
- Instant inspiration: Built-in randomizer and carefully tuned parameter ranges make it easy to stumble into happy accidents and creative results.
- Offbeat beauty: The Groove expander brings rhythmic movement and groove to your main kick.
- Full stereo signal path: The kicks, effects and mixing all work in stereo, keeping your sound wide and deep – whether in studio productions or live performances.
- Optional expanders: Groove and Performer modules offer stereo processing, rhythmic textures, sidechain ducking, and DJ-style effects.
Ohm Force will showcase Bohm at the upcoming SUPERBOOTH25 on May 8th-10th, FEZ-Berlin, Germany (booth W255).
The system will be available through Ohm Force’s growing global network of retailers via Alex4 Distribution in June 2025, priced at an MSRP of €369 EUR (Bohm), €139 EUR (Bohm:Groove), and €99 EUR (Bohm:Performer). Prices including VAT in Europe.
