Orange Tree Samples has announced the release of a comprehensive virtual percussion collection powered by Native Instruments’ free Kontakt Player.
Latitude Latin Rock Percussion features a vast collection of deeply-sampled studio percussion. The sample library includes a total of 376 instruments, often with multiple options for each type of instrument, providing a diverse range of traditional and modern sounds.
The library’s factory presets encompass ready-to-use grooves, curated ensembles in various styles, and “Menus” for quickly auditioning all the instrument variations. It also includes “Kits”, which utilize standard General MIDI drum mapping for immediate familiarity.
The collection spans a wide percussive spectrum–including congas, bongos, timbales, guiros, cowbells, and much more–providing everything a producer needs for creating authentic Brazilian and Afro-Cuban grooves. Its assortment of shakers, cajons, mark trees, triangles, and cymbals also makes it an essential songwriter’s toolkit for Rock, Pop, R&B, and beyond.
