Orlando P has introduced a new soundset for Arturia’s flagship software synthesizer Pigments.
So, you finally got tired of Preset Diving through the thousand plus bass presets that you’ve accumulated over the years, searching for that one bass sound that actually inspires something, anything. Shucks, you’d be happy if it simply made you thirsty, or perspire a bit, but you can’t even get that.
Well, I was that person and, after years of my own endless days of Preset Diving, I chose to try something different by making my own bespoke sounds. Here, I endeavored to do quite a bit more than simply grabbing a default preset, making a few changes to the ADSR, detuning a couple of saws, and calling it a day. The guilty parties know who they are. Instead, I tried to push Pigments 7 to its limits to see exactly what it can do when put through a stress test, and I can say, it stands as one of the best in the bass game currently.
BassFace Library Vol. 1 contains 7 presets. It is available to purchase for $5 USD.
