As those problem areas appear, Vocal Smoother responds in real time and backs away when they do not. This helps soften the distracting edges without forcing a broad tonal cut across the entire track. Use the main Smooth control to set the overall intensity, then adjust Resonance, Harshness, and Sibilance independently to match what the recording actually needs.
