Peter Dines of Reaktor Tips has released the Reaktor Sampler Pack, a collection three granular sampling instruments for Native Instruments Reaktor.
Reaktor Sampler Pack
- Frame 2, a simple looping sampler designed for live control of loop points and other parameters.
- Loupe, a polyphonic looping slicer for quickly mapping arbitrary (that is, non-beatsliced) sections of a sample to different MIDI keys.
- Mirage, a granular sampler inspired by the music of Tim Hecker, Peter’s laziness, and his disorganization (those are Peter’s words…).
Frame 2 is available as a free download, Loupe and Mirage are $15 USD each. A bundle of Loupe and Mirage is available for $22.50 USD until the end of February, 2011.

These go into a folder all their own. A private club of elite ensembles :)

Playing with them now though I have to admit, bought the bundle based on it coming from Peter alone, pretty much guarantees there will be some clever bits I haven’t seen before ;-)
Will check back later after some proper ‘probing’, that is systematic permeative re-combinations of varying groupings and iterations for all parameter sets in progressive mathematical series and sets…in other words, the ‘Loopy C’ method :D
