LA-based Platinum and Gold RIAA-certified producer, vocal producer and songwriter Justin Gammella has launched Pizza Bagel Plugins, brining three plugins built for a quick and modern workflow.
Open one of my Pro Tools sessions and you’ll see a whole lineup of plugins and hardware sitting there switched off. I flip them in and out until I hear what the vocal needs. JJG Vocals is that toolbox in one window, just a lot faster.
- JJG Vocals (vocal channel strip): Preamp, Tape, Compressor, EQ, De-esser, Salt enhancer and Output with gate, in signal order in one window. Each module has its own power switch, one main knob and a plate that picks its circuit. Four preamps, four tape machines, five compressor modes, two de-essers, a 0 ms low-latency tracking mode, A/B and presets.
- Salt (enhancer): built from one half of a companding noise-reduction circuit. Quiet passages open up, loud ones are left alone. Two curves (Kosher and Pink), two directions (Acid brightens, Fat thickens) and one Flavor knob. Zero latency.
- Schmear (vocal widener): a micro-pitch widener with three settings, 3, 6 and 9 cents. Mono-safe and phase-safe.
Available for Windows and macOS in VST3, AU and AAX formats, JJG Vocals is on sale for the intro price of $49 USD (regular $150 USD), while Salt is $19 USD (regular $49 USD). Schmear is free to download during the promotion (regular $19 USD). The Everything Bagel bundle with all three plugins is available for $60 USD (regular $180 USD), and the paid plugins have 28-day full trial version available to try them.
