Plughugger has announced the release of a new soundset for the recently updated Hive synthesizer instrument by u-he.
Azure Progressive House comes 207 new sounds aimed for melodic EDM, laidback house and modern pop – complete with synthesized drums, dramatic hits, sequences, leads, basses and pads.
The soundset is divided into two parts.
The first part contains 157 patches designed in Hive 1.2 using the new wavetable oscillators. To take the soundset a bit further, Plughugger also designed their own wavetables out of spoken phrases by speech synthesizer.

The second part is called “Wavetable Remix Edition” and is an additional collection of 50 patches where Plughugger took their favorite sounds and remade them using no other sound sources but the new wavetables that came with Hive 2.
